When a client asks you to go film out in the woods of Texas, you just say yes. We went out to Mason, Tx (the middle of nowhere) and followed around the owners of Smokie Pooh Texas Jerky. At one point during the filming, one of the owners took me aside from the campfire to look up at the stars. He tells me, “this is why I started this company. People in the city don’t get to see the beauty and vastness of nature. They can’t see the stars. I want to make something that will allow my family to enjoy nature as well as something others can enjoy while they’re out in nature.” That’s they type of content you can’t get sitting in front of a computer.
